If you're a reseller of hemp-derived products, then CBD oil can't be missing out. There are several strategies for marketing it, including white-label CBD oil.
What does it involve? Is it really advantageous? If so, how do you go about it?
In this article, we reveal everything you need to know about white label CBD oil. Spoiler alert: we're manufacturers and suppliers of white-label CBD products ourselves. So we're likely to tell you about our oils and our commercial commitments... But we promise, you'll learn plenty too 😉
If you're new to the world of hemp and its derivatives, then you may not know exactly what CBD oil is. Likewise, some of you may not be familiar with marketing jargon.
So, before we get to the heart of the matter, let's take a moment to define a few terms.
There's nothing shameful about not knowing what CBD oil is. In fact, the term itself is confusing. Technically, it's not a CBD oil, but a vegetable oil enriched with cannabidiol. It's a fine distinction, but one worth knowing, especially if you're planning to resell it!
To make CBD oil, hemp flower extract is added to a base oil, which is usually hemp seed oil. Remember that cannabinoids, and therefore CBD, are synthesized in the flowers (in the trichomes) and not in the seeds.
As you can see, the characteristics of CBD oil depend largely on the hemp extract (distillate or isolate). This extract varies in composition:
> Some extracts are full spectrum: they contain all the hemp molecules, including CBD, minor cannabinoids, terpenes and traces of THC;
> Others are broad spectrum: they contain everything except THC;
> Finally, some contain only one cannabinoid (CBD) or a mixture (CBD+CBN, for example).
CBD oil also varies according to its cannabidiol concentration: from 5% to 50% for the highest doses.
A white-label product is a product manufactured by one company andmarketed by another.
In concrete terms, the manufacturer supplies his product without a label and remains anonymous, so that the retailer can personalize the packaging with his logo, brand and colors, and sell it as if it were his own.
The white-label CBD product is a common practice within the industry, because, as we'll see straight away, it suggests several advantages.
To understand why white-label CBD oil is a common-sense strategy, it's worth considering the other solutions that exist when you want to sell CBD oil.
Seen in this light, white-label CBD oil seems like the perfect solution. We'd love to tell you "yes, buy white-label CBD oil, and buy ours"... But that would be leaving out a few details worth knowing. (Here's a link to our catalog for CBD pros anyway) :

The first thing to bear in mind before embarking on a white label project is the relationship of dependence with the supplier. You have no control over price, quality or continuity of production.
And while we're on the subject of price, it's important to bear in mind that your margin will inevitably be thinner than that of your CBD oil competitors... Competitors who will also have plenty of time to offer CBD oils with innovative formulas.
In short, you're at a competitive disadvantage with CBD oil manufacturers. Your marketing strategy had better be well thought-out...
And then, as we said, there's actually another scenario: you can make your own CBD oil without necessarily investing in expensive extraction machinery. In fact, some CBD wholesalers (like us!) sell the raw material, which you simply mix with hemp oil to obtain CBD oil.
It does require some investment and know-how, but it's an option worth knowing about! If you're interested in this option, don't hesitate contact uswe'll be delighted to explain it all to you in detail!
As we explained earlier, CBD oils differ in their composition (full spectrum, broad spectrum and isolate) and in their CBD concentration.
Ideally, you should offer a varied range, both in terms of composition and concentration. However, let's imagine for a moment that your starting budget is small.
In this case, we recommend :
In short, we recommend that you offer full and broad spectrum CBD oils rather than oils containing only CBD. This choice allows you to count on products that offer the entourage effect.
As you know, the CBD market is saturated. Dozens and dozens of brands are born and die every day. So, to survive in such competitive conditions, it's best to rely on a product of impeccable quality!
Based on our experience as a CBD oil retailer, here are the quality criteria appreciated by consumers:
You know what kind of white-label CBD oil you want to buy wholesale. But how do you find a supplier, and a French one at that?
As in most cases, your search begins on Google. However, as you'll see, there are few (if any) suppliers who are also manufacturing laboratories, as is our case!
In any case, we'd like to share a good address with you, that of a B2B platform for wholesalers of hemp products: Les Fines Fleurs. Don't hesitate to take a look...
Before you go, here are 5 key criteria to help you choose the right wholesaler CBD for your white-label oils:
