H4CBD is what's known as a synthetic cannabinoid. Unlike CBD and most other cannabinoids on the market, H4CBD is not naturally synthesized in cannabis, but rather manufactured in the laboratory.
H4CBD is a hydrogenated version of CBD. More precisely, it is a CBD molecule to which 4 hydrogen atoms have been added via a process known as "hydrogenation".
Hydrogenation is a safe chemical process, widely used in the food industry.
